Supports Critical Infrastructure Upgrade at a Major Canadian Facility
PTW completed a year-long project at a significant Canadian facility, focusing on the installation of a new heater. This critical upgrade was designed to enhance the site’s operational efficiency and flexibility.
The project encompassed a range of services, including comprehensive electrical, instrumentation control, insulation, site installation, construction, and pre-commissioning. PTW was responsible for installing the tray and cable, lighting, instruments, and heat trace while integrating owner-supplied equipment. Notably, PTW played a pivotal role in coordinating third-party insulation contractors for both labour and materials. This work was instrumental in the successful installation of the new heater, which is expected to reduce the need for frequent maintenance and increase operational flexibility.
PTW ensured all electrical and instrumentation tasks were completed on schedule, working in close coordination with adjacent trades and adhering to the plant outage timelines. Through collaboration with all stakeholders, PTW supported the smooth and timely completion of the project, ensuring a seamless plant startup.
Thanks to PTW’s proactive planning and effective communication, the project was efficiently managed, and all expectations were met. PTW’s commitment to executing the work smoothly and ensuring the plant was ready for startup as scheduled earned praise from all stakeholders.
