PTW Energy Services constructs eight builds for Coke Boiler Replacement Project
PTW Energy Services, through its Construction and Structural Solutions teams, created eight Rigid Frame Modular E-Houses and enclosures for a large Canadian oil producer’s Coke Boiler Replacement Project. All buildings were completed and shipped to the client’s site in Q4 2022, taking 44,188 combined hours to complete by our workforce.
The Coke Boiler Replacement Project involves the replacement of aging petroleum coke-fired boilers with two highly efficient natural gas cogeneration units to generate power for Alberta’s power grid and supports the National and Provincial Government’s climate change strategy.
Our work involved the installation, supply, fabrication and construction of all steel and building components, including the installation of all electrical material and major electrical equipment. This project was executed at our Frontier Road location in Rocky View County, Alberta, and our team was able to self perform all aspects of work, controlling the end product, thereby delivering superior results. The project was also executed through a single point of contact, allowing for seamless and efficient execution.
