PTW Branch Operations feature of the week – Wabasca

Wabasca provides a wide range of comprehensive Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I), Construction and Maintenance services. Additionally, we operate our own shops for Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and motor repairs. This set up offers significant advantages with the remoteness of Wabasca, as it minimizes the need for shipping parts to and from the area, enabling us to be more self-contained. 

Our team also operates a Small Project division that in recent months has been involved in construction of 2- 9 well pads that have been fairly involved in new Process and shutdowns for this area. This is a relatively new endeavor for this area, so the team is taking it head on and has been producing excellent outcomes.  

Of our 40 employees none of them live directly in Wabasca, resulting in a team brought together from various locations across Alberta and British Columbia with this branch operating on a shift work schedule rather than adhering to the traditional Monday-to-Friday routine.
