A Fresh Start: Sustaining Safe Practices in 2025

In early 2025, PTW remained steadfast in its commitment to safety, making it the cornerstone of its operations and decision-making. To ensure this focus continued to thrive, we launched the Fresh Start initiative—a crucial safety reset for the new year. Throughout January, our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team and operations staff conducted Fresh Start meetings, engaging directly with our workforce in the field at 45 of our locations.

These sessions promoted a collective safety reset, emphasizing key safety elements such as Hazard Assessments, PTW’s Energy Wheel, and Life Saving Rules. Reviewing these fundamental practices reinforced the importance of cultivating safe habits and increasing awareness of potential risks associated with our work.

At PTW, safety is not just a priority but the core of our operations. Our commitment to a safety-first culture influences our decisions, which affect our workers, branches, and the organization. The Fresh Start initiative received active support from PTW’s senior leadership team, including CEO John Cooper, CFO Gary Summach, and Vice Presidents Dennis Senych, Surya Sagi, and Mike Burnett. These leaders engaged in meaningful conversations with employees about safety protocols and explored ways to enhance the work environment for our dedicated teams.

As we moved forward in 2025, PTW remained focused on improving safety results and deepening our safety-first culture. The Fresh Start initiative was one of the many ways we actively worked to ensure safety remained a guiding principle for all PTW team members. The HSE team, along with senior leadership and operations leaders across all divisions, continued to deliver the Fresh Start message in person to as many front-line employees as possible.

Through these efforts, we reinforced our dedication to safety, ensuring it stays at the forefront of everything we do. Together, we are building a safer and more resilient PTW for the year ahead.
